LOVE AFFAIR

When I first saw him, I knew I was in trouble.  It was love.  Love at first sight.  Really, head over heels, fall on your face, butterflies in your stomach to the point of nausea L.O.V.E.  That’s just the affect he had on me.  Imm.ed.iate.ly.

The moment we simply worked and functioned flawlessly together without endless hours of frustration or my developing the desire to chuck him out the window, I knew I had found my match.  I’m talking MAJOR compatibility here, and MAJOR points on the attractiveness scale.

Mr. Hallmark, I suppose I have you to thank, for it was you who drove me to him.  It was your insisting that I could do better.  Your pushing that he had so much more to offer than his counterpart.  And, I have to admit, you were right.

Oh, Ira, my beloved iMAC, how I adore you.  An avid PC user for all my life, you’ve changed me right to the core.  I am no longer a technologically frustrated freak yelling at the inanimate object before me, hoping that my tears or the profuse beatings with my fists might encourage it to work.  Without my begging, pleading, coaxing or returning hours later to see if it has decided to actually run without crashing, you, Ira, simply function.  And, as a photographer, who spends many a hour in front of a computer, I am completely and unabashedly smitten.
