Feel like you’re reliving moments from The Sound of Music?  Well, not quite.  I’m not going to lie.  I’m a yodeler.   Yep, I said it.  One of my favorite past-times does involve standing atop mountains, practicing my yodeling skills.  Don’t act like you’re not impressed.  Ha!  Luckily for all of us, I don’t yodel (try to contain your disappointment), but it certainly does feel like I’m standing out here letting the echo of my voice just hang out there, bouncing off the mountains into thin air… Yikes!  Is anybody out there?  Helloooooo?

Truth be told, this online journaling thing is scary!  This blog has been in the works for a while and now it’s officially live!  All of the ideas in my head, many of the images I’ve taken, and many of my thoughts and feelings are about to be posted onto these pages for all to see and that can feel quite, well, scary!  But, I’m also so excited to “officially” begin a journey that has already been in progress for some time now.

My goal is for my blog to be a place to get to know one another, to get to know me and my work, and a place to chronicle the epic of my journey on this windy photographic road.  Most of all, though, I hope it will be a place that brings a smile to your face.  Hey, I warned you – I’m cheesy!  Move over, Hallmark, Maggie Harkov is here!  :)

Maggie–We are blown away with these photos. You are a true artist. You have the ability to tell a well woven story with the photos and then your comments make the whole experience magical. We’re blessed to know you and to see how you have grown from such a cute little one to such a naturally talented, grace-filled person. We look forward to many more “journeys” through your photos. God’s blessings to you and Ari!
