I heard it was something you HAD to do.  Something you simply could NOT miss.  And they were right.  Since 1981, WPPI (Wedding & Portrait Photographers International) has held an annual convention and trade show in Las Vegas, providing wedding and portrait photographers with amazing opportunities for growth and knowledge.  When I entered this industry, WPPI was something I heard about at every turn.  It had a lot of hype and I wasn’t sure how it would live up to it all.  Earlier this month, I flew to Las Vegas and attended WPPI for the first time and was completely blown away.  13,000 photographers, 365+ exhibitors, endless classes and opportunities for growth, learning and meeting other people, and I couldn’t have walked away with a better experience.  I left thinking, inspired, and ready to apply all that I learned in the next wedding season here in New York City!  So excited!
