A beautiful afternoon spent at an amusement park that sits on the beach.  What could be better?  Well, I’ll tell you, my friends. Photographing a couple in love on a beautiful afternoon at an amusement park that sits on the beach = perfection.

Gillian and Steve met on Match and immediately felt a spark.  The first time they met, they hit it off and have been a perfect match together ever since.  When Gillian and I first spoke about potential locations for their engagement session, she mentioned Rye Playland, and I have to admit, I was a little too excited about it.  Truth is, I’m kind of obsessed with amusement parks.  There is just something about them that makes me smile – the way they make adults feel and act childlike again, able to forget the realities of everyday life and just have fun for a day, the cotton candy, the pickles, the funnel cakes, the adrenaline rush on rollar coasters – all of it – what’s not to love?  And that, combined with a pair like Gillian and Steve, filled my day with absolute joy!  And, I have to say, I have a feeling that their lives together are going to be equally filled with as much joy and fun because they’re just that wonderful together!

Thanks for making me feel like a kid again, Gillian and Steve, you guys are the best!
