I’m not going to lie, I kind of love wedding themes. No, no. Think tiny details that go beyond color schemes and are full of do-it-yourself touches, not an Elvis and Priscilla in Graceland bride and groom. I mean, really, Internet, have a little faith. So when Lisette got in touch with me and mentioned a 1950′s Cuban inspired garden wedding, you can imagine my response. Um, yes, please! Just hearing about their day made me look forward to being a part of it, but finally meeting the wonderful Lisette and Jose in person, made me even more thrilled to have the opportunity to do what I love for such lovely people.
Lisette and Jose are such an incredibly sweet pair and it made me smile to see them soak up every moment of their day to the fullest. Let me tell you, this couple burned up the dance floor, my friends. I was thoroughly impressed and found it difficult not to dance along with everyone as I snapped my shutter across the dance floor. Not only are Jose and Lisette complete sweethearts, but their family and friends could not have been more warm or welcoming to the only non-Cuban girl in the room. ;) I can’t say what a privilege it was to document the special day of such a fabulous couple. Lisette and Jose, wishing you a lifetime of smiles!
Love + Hugs,
Maggie
