Central Park has long been the place for engagement photos. I mean, after all Central Park is one of the epitomes of New York City and it’s beautiful, so what’s not to love, right? Well, nothing my friends, nothing at all. I love Central Park as much as the next guy, but I also love doing something different and putting a twist on things. And Stephanie and Paul? They were totally up for the challenge. The future Mr. and Mrs. wanted their session in Central Park since they got engaged there, but they also wanted to include elements of themselves in their engagement photos, and I was totally on board.
Stephanie and Paul met at a convention in high school and reconnected not long ago and felt as if no time had passed. Though many miles now separate them as they maintain a long distance relationship while Stephanie finishes medical school, they are counting down the days to be in the same place together forever soon. A long distance veteran myself, one thing I always loved is that feeling of excitement when you’re finally together – every moment is treasured and I adored seeing Stephanie and Paul treasuring each moment together.
Yay to an afternoon in Central Park with a lovely couple, Magnolia Bakery cupcakes and football jerseys! What a fun day!
