She arrived right on time at the love statue at 36th and Locust, ready meet her friend.  When her friend was no where to be found, Julie perched herself beside the famous statue and waited.  Just then a student on campus approached Julie bearing a note for her. And, you can imagine her surprise when she looked at the envelope and noticed the writing was in her very own San Franciscan boyfriend’s hand.  As she anxiously read the words that filled the page, she glanced up to see none other than her Northern CA boyfriend down on one knee asking for her hand in marriage.

After years of long distance, Julie and Teddy are happily enjoying being in the same together and going through Medical and Business School at the University of Pennsylvania.   The future husband and wife will be getting hitched this month, and I couldn’t be happier for this sweet pair.

Last month, I went to Philadelphia for their engagement session and had such fun playing in the rain with Julie and Teddy!  Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE sunshine, but there is always something so special about photographs in the rain.  Fortunately, we had a light misting the whole time and Julie and Teddy were up for anything, so we had a blast!

I can’t wait for your big day, Julie + Teddy! :)

Hugs,
Maggie

What fun time you captured on Julie & Teddy’s engagement shoot. You always find the most unique places for your shoots. Love the dancing in the rain with the umbrella shots. xoxox
