Love can take your breath away.  Or it can make you walk into a ketchup dispenser and get ketchup all over yourself.  Either one.

For GinaRose, that interaction with America’s favorite condiment was the very same moment she saw her future husband across the cafeteria at Hofstra University.  Tim smiled at the gorgeous girl covered in ketchup across the Mexican station and Gina prayed to God that the cute guy grabbing a burrito didn’t notice the ketchup all over her.  This brief exchange, however, would be an interlude to a trend of bumping into one another which led to their first date and to their own happily. ever. after.

Gina and Tim are in love. SURE, you must be saying, EVERY couple that gets married loves one another.  True beans, my friends, true beans.  But not the way Gina and Tim do.   Gina and Tim are giddy as can be about each other and yet they have a profound adoration and love for each other that touches my heart and makes my eyes well up.  Ok, so this also happens in Hallmark commercials, but mostly I just cry when something pulls at my heart strings and touches me, and that, my friends, is something Gina and Tim’s love does to me every time.  You see it the simplest of things.  The way they talk about each other. The subtle looks they exchange.  The never-ending smiles at each other. The complete appreciation for everything their other half is.  They are ketchup and mustard. Peanut butter and jelly.  Milk and cookies.  Salt and pepper.  They just go together.

From the moment I met this ever so in love pair, I was a smitten kitten.  Not only are they ridiculously adorable, but they are the most genuine, warm, down to earth people and I’m not kidding that I kind of want to give them a big hug every time I see them and squeeze them because they are so sweetly special.  They are about love, they are about family and friends, and they are about living life to the very fullest, and I cannot say what an honor and privilege it has been to walk along this journey with them as they start their lives together as husband and wife.

Gina and Tim tied the knot at the lovely Mallard Island Yacht Clubin Long Beach Island, New Jersey, and I’m not going to lie, I’m kind of in love with this place.  I had first seen it when Mr. H and I went down to LBI for a little anniversary getaway and I’d proclaimed it to be the perfect spot for a wedding as we drove past it, but who would have known only a year later, I’d be photographing Gina and Tim’s incredible wedding there.  Gorg.e.ous.

Gina and Tim, thank you for sharing yourselves and your hearts with me and for sharing your love with the world in the way that you do.  It was an incredible honor for me to be a part of and document your special day with your nearest and dearest present, and I couldn’t be happier for you both.  Wishing you a lifetime of all the warmth, love, and joy you bring to each other and every life you touch!
