Allison & Keegan may have walked through the same halls during their college days at Auburn University, but they didn’t cross paths until they moved to the city and met at an interview for a position at Bearing Point. Not long thereafter, they fell in love. And, having the opportunity to see them interact, there’s no doubt about why. Allison is nothing short of a beautiful southern belle, incredibly warm and friendly. She makes you want to move to the South in hopes that everyone will be like her! Keegan is just as kind a Canadian, and is hilarious, teasing Allison constantly with hints of sarcasm, but with a total sense of love and affection. I’d move to Canada to meet more like Keegan, too, but, well…no, actually I wouldn’t. It’s WAY too cold there and I’m definitely a fan of warmer climates! :) Plus, I don’t think Mr. Hallmark or our sweet puppy Sophie would be up for it, either. But, back to Allison & Keegan… One thing I really loved about being around them was observing the way they looked at each other. There is such admiration, such love. I don’t think Allison stopped laughing or smiling during the entire shoot.
When I met with Allison & Keegan, they told me they hated having their picture taken, but I never would have known it! Would you? They were great sports with the paparazzi and we had a lot of fun enjoying the first beautiful day we’ve had this spring in Central Park (along with everyone else there!) Allison & Keegan are a wonderful fit for each other and I feel honored to have captured them during this special time in their lives. They will be getting married in November in Sarasota, Florida and I know it’s going to be an amazing day. If half of my future clients are as nice as Allison & Keegan, I will count myself extremely blessed. Well, without further ado…a few images from my first official engagement shoot!!

Wow!! Absolutely gorgeous!
Wow, I absolutely LOVE these pictures. Allison & Keegan look like models – who would have known they didn’t like to be photographed!
Words cannot express how thankful and ecstatic Keegan and I are to have such wonderful engagement pics! Maggie was an ABSOLUTE JOY to work with and I cannot wait to recommend her to all my friends! Gorgeous! These guys look like models! You have quite a gift, lady!
This is a spectacular blog!! I love the personalization, your outgoing friendly and very approachable demeanor that you have expressed here. This blog was well worth waiting for. You are a very talented and gifted artist!!! Your photographs are awesome. Such a variety of scenes, backgrounds and expressions. I don’t even know Keegan & Allison yet I’m considering displaying one of their photos to show off your extraordinary work. It sure looks like you all had a fun experience capturing K & A’s love (digitally) in fabulous New York. Congratulations Maggie! This blog is amazing, a true example of your attention to detail & perfection. Mama
Maggie, beautiful work! You are really coming into your own. You have a way of capturing people in a natural way and they seem to have fun which is important as you know. I am very proud of you and of your work. Congrats!
Thank you so much everyone!! You all made my day! :)
Maggie,
I just love it! Your blog is so warm and real. Your photographs are amazing. I truly enjoyed lingering over each gem…hearing your laughter and imagining what you were saying as you captured the moment on film.(Do you say film if it is captured digitally?) I am so glad that you found something that feels right! You are very talented. I predict magnificent success!

Wow! It just keeps getting better and better and better. Your work is stunning! I’m so impressed. I can’t wait to see more.
I just can’t get over your work. One can tell you love what you’re doing and you make those you’re capturing feel comfortable. What a gift you have. You Go Girl!!!
Hi Maggie,
I love your blog — the pictures truly convey happiness, affection and laughter! You’re definitely very talented and I look forward to having our pictures taken…especially since these days in our home Pinot our puppy gets most of the attention and pictures…granted he’s the cutest one of us :) Which makes me think about another little business venture for you that I know you would excel at…capturing special moments with four-legged friends. This should have some prospects with dog-loving Upper East Side folks..or breeders in Connecticut etc?! Anyway, I hope you keep up doing this beautiful work and follow your heart in pursuing such a rewarding vocation!!!!
