There are some weddings that leave a mark on the people who are fortunate enough to experience them. Some that stay close to your heart several weeks, months, or years after they’ve past. Marisa and Geoffrey’s wedding this past May was one such wedding. I can’t quite put into words what it was exactly that touched me so deeply about their day, but there was this intangible and unspoken beauty surrounding every aspect of it. Every emotion, every person was so raw and authentic that I found it near impossible not to be choked up throughout the day, fogging up the viewfinder of my camera as I tried to hold back my tears. There was no pretense, no fear of sharing emotion, just a genuinely beautiful celebration of two people unbelievably in love joining their lives together before their family and friends. Isn’t that what it’s really all about?
Marisa and Geoffrey got married at the completely stunning Hortulus Farm Garden & Nursery and celebrated afterwards at Rat’s Restaurant at Grounds for Sculpture. M & G, thank you so much for sharing yourselves, your love for each other and your love of life and family with me. I feel so very honored to have been a part of the magic.
With much love & adoration,

Every photo had me saying to myself, “stunning, or gorgeous, or what fun, or oh how beautiful.” I was running out of adjectives. Fabulous venue, subjects, and photographer.
