You might notice I have a new face.  Well, I don’t per se, but Maggie Harkov Photography and maggieharkov.com has had some extensive work done, my friends. Ex.ten.sive.  As in, this whole rebranding process has been in the works since almost last January.

The process of creating a brand that’s truly reflective of me was hard work and required me to ask myself and those who know & have worked with me tough questions about who and what I am not only as a photographer, but as a person. Since I am at the heart of my business and brand, I wanted everything that had my name on it to really be true to me and the experience of working with me. After all, a brand is not simply a logo – it’s a whole identity system. It’s a feeling you get when you interact with the company or receive anything from them and is what makes us perceive certain brands to be better than others. It’s the backbone of any company.

When I first started my business I’d done the bulk of it myself so this time it was time to hire a professional. Enter Courtney of Seamless Creative. I am forever indebted for her pure genius, and for being my sounding board, designer, psychologist, and friend, who had endless patience with me and this process. Thanks to her, I have a new logo, business card, website, blog, proofing site, new set of typography, packaging, stationery, materials and overall presence that are all more reflective of me as both a person and photographer.
